My "Yay, I Started Too!" post turned into a shopping list, so I thought I'd just make a new thread.

I'm terrible at this! I see lots of things in catalogs that I want but I always forget to order until it's too late and then I'm running through the stores like a crazy person.

That said, I saw some nice lavendar aroma therapy stuff in a catalog that I know my mom would like. I think DH wants to get her a shot gun though. Yes, a shot gun! She said something about not liking the one she has and wanting a smaller one that will be good for snakes and such (she lives in the country). Yes, we are a little red in the neck. ;)

For my sister I'm thinking about this wearable blanket thing (yes, she's a dork and I know she'll love it).

We usually do a secret Santa exchange with DH's siblings and spouses, so I won't know about what to do there until November probably. The same goes for my cousins and aunts and uncles and for the "little kids" as we call them. We do a big Christmas Eve get together with all my family, and there are so many cousins and so many of us have kids now, we've split into "big" and "little" cousins and draw names.

That still leaves us needing gifts for my mom, my sister, MIL, and my grandma, plus each other and our LO. I see lots of things in catalogs that I want but I always forget to order until it's too late and then I'm running through the stores like a crazy person.

For my grandma, I saw some cute woven-grass birdhouses in a catalog. I think she needs something to get her outside and busy since my grandpa just passed. Maybe she needs some gardening stuff too. Some bulbs to plant maybe.

As for DH, I have NO idea. I never do. He tends to buy what he wants, when he wants it, so I just make him tell me what it is that I just bought him and tell him that was his Christmas present.

Manda :)

I haven't gotten too much into, we still need to figure out a budget. I think the BIL/SIL exchange will be canceled again, no one really has the money for it. We do still need younger niece and then my parents are impossible... so is my brother.. DH and I prefer to just set aside some money and have someone watch the kids so we can have a shopping/ kid free day after Christmas. Kids... that will depend on what they want from Santa but the rest will be little stuff. And DH handles the ILs... so not really much to get this year. My parents send money for us to get the kids stuff so I'll have to do their shopping but really 90% of our stuff I get online.
