What Christmas-y stuff have you done?

The holidays are my favorite time of year. I love cooking the big meal at Thanksgiving and decorating for Christmas. I put up my tree Thanksgiving weekend (and get to keep decorating it again every day since Noah knocks down all of the bulbs in his reach. Thank God for shatterproof bulbs, LOL. ) This past weekend we went to the Santa Claus House in North Pole which is about twelve miles from our town and got pictures of Noah with Santa, pictures of the reindeer and lots of pictures of all of the decorations and the three of us in the House. It was a lot of fun. Plus most of my shopping for Noah is done. I just have to go shopping for the husband and get a few more things for Noah and I'll be all done.

Where are you ladies at? Did you get the Santa pictures yet?

we have the tree up, and bought a few gifts. I have yet to wrap anything. I am also really behind on my baking. Maybe I need to get on that. We dont do the santa pictures because Belle isn't good with people she doesn't know. She saw santa in the mall and went running away crying her eyes out. Maybe next year, but I dont really care. I'm trying to teach her that Christmas isn't about santa, but so far she doesn't get it lol.

We haven't put our tree up yet (i'm dreading it this year with Em getting into it, etc.) or any inside decorations, but our outside decorations are up and I have all my shopping done and wrapped.

Sounds like lots of fun! That's cool that the North Pole is so close.

We put up our tree the weekend after Thanksgiving. We put all the fragile stuff out of Christine's reach and put stuff that she can take down and have fun with down low. So most of the day the bottem half of our tree is empty.

I have all of my Christmas shopping done, some of it wrapped.. not much.. problem is I'm a perfectionist and I make my own bows.

We've visited Santa and got pictures. :)

This is the first time in 15 years I have been able to get a tree so last weekend we went up with my ils to cut down atree and I decorated it that night :) We don't have anything up outside except the wreath on the door because I did not want to climb onto the roof to put up lights. We do have a bunch of decorations up inside the house, a lot on the mantle and a few other places.

All of my shopping has been done for a while and everything is wrapped (it's my favorite part so I usually do it the minute I get home with the gifts).

I took Brennan to see Santa in November, needed to beat the mall frenzy, he didn't really like him though, got two pictures with no smiles before he started screaming.
