What if your husband became a SAHD?

It seems like SAHDs are on the rise and with women getting degrees at a faster rate than men, it might become more of an option for the husband to stay home and the wife to become a breadwinner.
From a SAHM point of view, I'm curious....
1) Would you ever want to be in a situation where your husband stayed home and you were the primary breadwinner?
2) If he was in the role of househusband or SAHD, what chores would you expect done? How much % of the chores would you expect him to do?
3) How would you feel about being the breadwinner? Would it be a role you would want?
4) How would you deal with other people's reactions to your role reversal situation?
5) Do you feel in 50 or 100 years that there may be more SAHDs than SAHMs and that men will be the primary cooks and housekeepers?

1) Would you ever want to be in a situation where your husband stayed home and you were the primary breadwinner? as sexist and double-standardish as it is, no i wouldn't. i wouldn't like to be second in my kids life for anyone, even my hubby. plus, my h is really lazy, and i don't feel like he would do as good a job with the kids.
2) If he was in the role of househusband or SAHD, what chores would you expect done? How much % of the chores would you expect him to do? chores, gosh, probably most of them. i'm a sahm now, and i do about 90% of them, so i guess i'd expect the same. i wouldn't really care about anything except having the house clean when i got home, it would drive me nuts to come home to a dirty house.
3) How would you feel about being the breadwinner? i've done it for a few months once, and i hated it. i had 0% respect for poor dh, it drove me batty. Would it be a role you would want? nope, lol
4) How would you deal with other people's reactions to your role reversal situation? i'd imagine you'd get some really strange reactions, but as with everything in life, you do what you think is right and politely ask everyone else to keep their oppinions to themselves.
5) Do you feel in 50 or 100 years that there may be more SAHDs than SAHMs and that men will be the primary cooks and housekeepers? i highly doubt it, personally i don't think that many guys want to be sahd and most women don't want them to be either. but i may be wrong, we'll just have to wait and see.
