What a morning!

I really think that my childrens goal before they left the house this morning was to drive me completly insane. They are never like they were this morning. My husband has been out of town since Monday and I think they miss him. Who knows.

My 13yr old ds wouldn't get put of bed, till I came in there the 4th time and yelled real hard. Then he took so much time eating that he missed his shower, then complained about it. He didn't want tio stink at school, well I warned him and I don't feel bad about it. So he left a little mad but still said goodbye and he loves me.

My 10yr old dd was just in a terrible mood and did everything possible to annoy my 7yr old.

My 7yr old ds was bound and determined to get the toddler 3yr old ds all wound up and succeeded. I was ready to lose it by the time they all left. I hate starting out my day like this. I have another 3yr daycare girl I watch and the two toddlers seem to know I am in a bad mood and have been argueing and fighting all morning. I even tried to do a project with them and it was complete meltdown. UGGGHHHHH! Is there something in the air this morning? It's only quarter to 9 and I am ready to be done!

Sorry you had a rough morning. Your probably right and they are acting up because they miss their dad. Sometimes when childrens routine's and the people they are used to daily...are interuppted for some reason. They just seem to lose their way for a while. Hope your day gets better!
