What would you do?

I'm sure all SAHM's(and their family) have faced this so I need your advice. My DH is amazing and would do anything so that I can stay at home with our 3 boys (ages 2, 17mo., and 4 mo.) and he does! He is currently working a fulltime day and a night job. He sleeps about 4 hours a day and only sees us on the weekends and even then he sleeps half the day just to catch up. I have offered to get a job in the evening so he could quit his night job but I don't know of anything that would pay enough. I'd need to make $300-$500 a week (the more the better of course). Since I can't go in until 7:00 pm and still need some sleep to function with 3 little ones all day I just can't get in enough hours anywhere. Have any of you found real jobs to do at home and make some money? I want my DH back and I know he wants to quit his night job also. Really the problem is that we have a whopping $120,000 in student loans so we need every penny we can get just to make the min. payment every month. If we didn't have those loans we'd be in pretty good shape. What would you do? Thanks!

Hi Kiara

Call the student loan people and see if you can get them deferred, or the minimum payment dropped.

There was a time where I was thinking about going back to work, and I was going to work PT at night.

A hospital or medical lab is a great idea since they run 24 hours a day. Target, Wal-Mart, and grocery stores hire night stockers to fill the shelves. Even a Super Wal-Mart or Walgreens is open 24 hours and needs people at the registers all night long.

I definitely agree with Ana that you should contact your loan company and look into having the payments deferred. They're usually really good about working with you. You could maybe even look into getting lower payments; sometimes as long as you pay anything they're happy.

Good luck with all of it!

Instead of going out to work you can work from home right! seach the net and i am sure you will find some work from home stuff. start with this and see how it goes.that way you will get to stay with the family,DH doesnt have to work at night and you will earn something.. all the best..
