I got this idea from my Nov 2004 board. I can not stop laughing from their posts so I thought this might be fun for us too. I am so glad that I am not alone when it comes to embarrasing moments. When my family gets together it seems that I am all they talk about with all of my funny stories. But I will share 2 (sorry if it is TMI):

#1
When I was pregnant with my oldest back in 1993, I was working at the hospital in the pathology dept. At the time I was a pathology assistant and had to ask the pathologist a question. We were pretty close, thank goodness. But anyway, I went into his office (his office was very small like a closet) and I said "Dr. McBurney I have a question---pause" then I farted like never before. I was sooooo embarrased, he turned red and said "it's ok dear, it is just human nature", then he started to laugh, I just walked out and even forgot what I was gonna ask him. Mind you I can NEVER fart when I have too, only in the potty.

#2
Back in 1993 (again) I had just put our oldest to sleep (she was our only one at the time) and DH and I decided to take a shower together. He told me to get the water ready and get in first. Well I turned the shower on, undressed myself and he still had not come in. So I went out of the bathroom to our hallway facing the living room and kinda yelled "I am ready for you" not knowing that my DH's cousin (female) was standing in our living room staring right at me. She had just gotten there while I was getting the water ready and could not hear the door. I was soooo embarrased cause mind you my body did not look very good after just having the baby a few months ago, stomach skin still hanging down. I was mortified...lol.

You are a brave soul to post such embarrasing things about yourself.
I will try and remember some of my own and post them later.

That is why I did these two so that way no one would be embarassed to tell theirs. If you think mine are bad you should read the ones on my Nov board. They are hilarious and really embarassing. So come on girls, try to beat mine;)

Olivia....lol yours are hilarious!!! lmao

Okay, most of my embarrassing moments have happened because of my oldest. I told the pee story from the mall so this one is even more embarrassing.

When I was 8 months pg with Nick, Matt and I would go for a walk around sunset. Because everything was uncomfortable on me I wore my Dh's basketball pants.

Well a good 10 minutes into the walk Matt starts to walk behind me. Matt loses his footing and uses his mommy to catch his balance...only problem is that he grabs the back of my pants and RIIPPPPPP there goes every single snap up the sides of the pants. Uh what do you ask was I wearing underneath? Why good ole big maternity granny panties. So I was shocked and didn't know what to do, while my big white a$$ was flapping in the wind. Could that have been the end of it? Oh HECK NO!!!!! It just so happens my neighborhood was filled with good helpful senior citizens and one of the male variety drove by just as it happened. Did he keep driving? Huh, he could have but good mister senior citizen became concerned...I guess he figured it must of hurt? He backs up as I am furiously trying to snap the pants in place and asks me if I am alright!!!!!!!

I did yoga for the rest of my pregnancy...at home! :)

I just remembered another one of my most embarassing moments. Around 6 years ago I was shopping with my niece who was 14 at the time. We were at Solo Serve (a store kinda like Ross). Anyway you know how the aisles are there. Ever since we were kids my family would always play tricks on us or do stuff like pinch our butt (it's called bean dip). Well I decided I was gonna pinch my niece's butt in the aisle since no one could see. As I passed her up I pinched her butt hard and said "bean dip". As I did it I told myself "my niece doesn't have a skinny butt like this one" and low and behold some lady turned around at me and just said "uh, excuse me, do I know you". I was soooo embarassed. I apologized like there was no tommorrow. I kept telling her "I thought you were my niece". She probably thought "what kinda of a family is this". OMG..I can not stop laughing even as I am typing this.

Ok, here's one of mine I shared a while ago here. I took a small group of youth to a water park for a church event. Well after swimming for a few hrs we all got together and decided to get a bite to eat. We ordered and went to sit down at those circle tables in the food court. Anyway it was soooo crowded and our table didn't have enough chairs. Being the leader I said I'll go find some more. I brought back a couple and sat down in an old lounge chair. A girl that hates me, bc I was good friends with her dh, was sitting directly behind us. I decided not to let that take away my fun and ignored her glares. (It really was stupid I had already been married for 3 yrs and Elise was 10 mos!) Anyway we had a great time laughing and talking. We decided that it was time to hit the slides again and as I scooted my chair back the seat gave way under me. Ohhh... the shame. Even if you're thin that's mortifying, but I was in a swim suit still holding on to my extra baby weight with no make up and wet hair!!! The place got so quiet you could hear a pin drop- I kid you not. Then I got up, which wasn't easy and people started laughing! I said ok you can run and hide or make fun of urself. So I held my arms up and shouted, I'm ok! Then I took a bow and whispered lets get out of here NOW! OH that was so embarassing!!!!!!! My youth thought it was great though that I was so calm about it and that helped- a little, lol.
