Well, we had two names picked out. Dalton and Nicholas. We let Andrew choose which one. We named his middle name Micheal after my husbands brothers middle name.
My son's name is Dominic, which means "Belonging To The Lord". I've always liked that name. His middle name is Lodovico, my husband's father's name, very Itailian, lol.
My DH is a Wildland Firefighter so from May to October, he lives in the forest fighting fires. He is home for 2 days every 16 days. Anyway, we named our DS "Walker" which means "Man who walks in forest". We also like it because it is unique but everyone can spell it.
We knew when we first got married that we were going to have Natalie. I was looking through the baby name book when I was pg, and saw that her name meant "born on Christmas day". Then I came across "Alair" which means "joyful or merry".
Isabella's name means Consecrated; Gods oath. We liked the name and the meaning. I was baptised right before she was born, so it had a special meaning to dh & myself. Her middle name is Santos, we chose that because it was dh's om's maiden name, and she died before Belle was born.
Austin -- Latin origin, means exalted, majestic. Just liked the name. His middle name is Jacob, which is dh's name.
Brandon -- Teutonic/Old English origin, means From the beacon hill. Whatever that means! LOL Just liked the name. His middle name is Michael, which is also my brother's middle name.
Dylan -- Celtic/Welsh origin, means One from the sea. The kid does like water! LOL Just liked the name. Middle name is Matthew, not named after anyone. Just sounded good with Dylan.
Makenna -- they didn't have her spelling, but McKenna was Anglo-Saxon origin, means: Kenneth (son of);; royal. LOVED the name. Her middle name is Grace. Not named after anyone either.
Well for our first child we always liked the name Mercedes Nicole so we settled on that name which means ransom/out of mercy. Turned out my grandfather's middle name was Mercedes. For our second we knew we were having a girl and we both liked the name Alexis but one day one of my aunt's was just kidding around and said "well you already have a Mercedes why not name her Lexus". We thought that was cute so we did name her Lexus Marie, Marie is my middle name. So for our son we went through several names (none of them cars) but we just couldn't part with the car names and felt that would be unfair so my sil (noeyzwifey) was looking through the internet and came across the car Aston Martin. So it fit just well, expensive like the other cars (way more expensive). So his name is Aston Manuel, Manuel for my dad who past away when I was 12. Unfortunately, Lexus and Aston don't have meanings so I made one up - fast, exotic, rare....lol.
Elise- is the French variant for Elizabeth which means "oath of God". Her middle name Carol is after my dh's late mother who passed when he was 8. It means "melody, song" in Gaelic.
Olivia- is the Italian form of Olive and it means "peace bringer." Her middle name, Grace means "God's favor."
