Do you have a pet peeve(s) something that just really ticks you off? I thought it could be a fun way to get to know each other...

Pages
1.People who drive slowly in the fast lane, and won't move over!!
2.Cranky old ladies who stand and argue with the clerk about the price of something etc.. and don't care that they are holding people up.I've worked as a clerk in the past and had to deal with people like that, and I've had to wait in line behind those kind!
3.Rich people who have lots of money, and act like they are better then anybody else!
4.Landlords,that I have to call 5 or 6 times before they will repair what needs fixed! The dryer was broken all this week and I had to take the laundry out to do it.Which isn't easy when you have a baby!I called all week and they didn't do anything about it until today!
Well that's all I can think of right now.I know there are more!LOL!!

I cant stand those people who sit at the red lights and pick their noses as if we cant see them sitting next to us.
People who like to smoke in the non smoking places, as if we cant smell it, DUH!!!!!
My other pet peeves are:
people calling me and talking non-stop. I'm a bit of a loner at times, I guess. I like my solice of home, and non-stop yacky people bug me.
people showing up on my doorstep because they thought they'd "pop in." Blech, call first, wouldja? At least give me the chance to pull the shades and lock my door!

1) Car alarms that go off in the middle of the night (I live in hicksville nowhere. The next car theft will be the first)!!
2) My neighbor screaming at his ex-wife and then throwing a party at 2 o'clock in the morning, forcing me to phone the police twice, and ignoring the fact that we have a baby!! By the way, even after phoning the police twice they never shut up. At 4 o'clock in the morning, someone was puking off their deck, which is about 2 feet from my open bedroom window!! GROSS!!
3) People in the grocery store who stand there and belch advise at me for 20 minutes about how to raise children.
4) Idiots who stop their cars behind mine in a parking lot to talk to their friends, and then won't move when they watched me get in my car and start it. Then proceed to give me rude looks when I have to honk my horn to get them to move!!
5) My boyfriend telling me to have more supper, or have a handful of chips, or bringing home a huge bottle of pop, or an ice cream cake, when he knows that I am trying to lose weight (even though he says I don't need to. Do they think that we can't see what we look like? I know those love handles aren't sexy!! JUST SUPPORT MY DECISION!!!)
And many more!! But I am probably boring everyone!!

2) Neighbors who do not teach their kids to stay in their own yard and leave our stuff alone unless they are invited over to play.
3) Stuck up snobby people in our small town who think they are better than everyone else.
4) "Friends" who use my name for emergency contact (because they know I stay at home with my kids)and tell me after the fact that they did it!
5) Parents who do not teach their children basic manners of "please and thank you".
6) Copy cats
I also hate when people walk down the middle of aisle in a parking lot when I'm trying to drive thru...duh, can't they hear a car behind them?
And one more...people who wait for your parking spot, especially when there's another one a few spots a way. I had a lady actually honk at me one time when I was loading two small kids, the big double stroller and a bunch of bags in the car. I guess she thought I was just taking my time to tick her off.
This is fun...

I also hate cell phones. I understand the use of a cell phone in an emergency, but what could be so important that your phone rings during church, the movies or dinner...ect. Don't you want your privacy sometimes! I was even at a Wedding where someones phone was ringing. How rude!!!
I also hated when I was working retail and I would be ringing a customer up, but they would be so busy talking on their cell phone that they couldn't even stop long enough to listen to their total. They would just hand me a big bill that they knew would cover it and then they get their change and leave. If we were talking on the phone and ringing up a customer (which of course we were not allowed to do and didn't do out of courtesy to our customers) the customer would complain so why not return the same courtesy to the cashier.
I have a few other pet peeves that I had while working in retail (thank goodness I was able to quit!!) that I'm sure lots of workers still have other than the cell phones.
-I hated when I would say "Hi" to a customer and they wouldn't even look at me. At least look at me and smile instead of totally ignoring me.
-I also hated when cutomers would come in right at closing time so that we would have to stay open later.
-I also hated it when older associates would start and feel that they deserved to make more money than me even though they had never worked retail and had no experience. Their thinking was they were older so they deserved to make more. When I quit I had 10 years in and 2 older associates each had 2 years in. I found out after I quit that they were making within 50 cents of me. That was NOT fair at all!!! If I would have known sooner I would have quit sooner!!
I hate when my DH comes home and says the house is a mess when I have cleaned up behind the kids 10 times already. He thinks that I sit on my butt all day..LOL!
I hate when people stand really, really close to you to talk to you. I like at least a little bit of space!!
I hate when people pull out in front of you and then they drive really slow and you almost rear end them which of course would be your fault.
I hate when you call a Company and they put you on hold forever or they keep transferring you to a different number. Sometimes they even give you a million different numbers to call just to have one question answered. Along the same line...I hate when you call someone and everytime you are told that they are in a meeting. Yeah right!!!
I could go on and on and on. But like many others I feel a lot better just getting all of that out!!
Thanks for the great question!
