what you did about not lettign them play was good . but I have to agree, a 7 yr old much less a 12 yr old isnt going to want to play with a 3 yr old they dont know. its not something they do. the 12 yr old would baby sit kids his age, not play with them. you have a right to get angry but would you have played with a 3 yr old you didnt know when you were 7? prob not unless you were forced by your parents. you need to look at it from their point of view too , some weird little kid they didn tknow came up and asked to playwith them they already had a game going . heck they might have been playing a game you son being 3 might not have understood the rules to. you dont know what they were playing.

I agree with the majority in saying that I wouldnt play with a three year old if I were older either and having a 3 year old dd I would not expect much out of older kids. I think starting a game with him and another child his age was the perfect thing to do but dont expect so much out of the older ones. It doesnt mean they are mean they are just acting their age... YES I WAS CUT OPEN WITH NO DRUGS! there was no time they needed to get him out or i would of lost him .so believe what you want i have no reason to lie what so ever.i was bleeding really bad ,my fever went up to 104 & his heart beat was going down.you do'nt know me from a hole in the wall, but to basically say i am lying is really rude. again i nevere said my kid was perfect or i was the perfect mother i know down the road my son will say/do something that myself &others will think is mean re-read what i said before you make a statement. sorry if this is comming off rude. But that was really rude of you, unless you have your medical degree &know all about emergency c-sections where yuo are about to lose your baby ,then i would say nothing!really sorry for sounding rude ,do'nt mean to be.

ok i understand about older kids playing with younger kids everyone has said sometinh about it. first off i would never have a 12 yr old watch my 3 yr old. second my whole issue was they "did not have to yell at me son" thats what i was upset about. throwing a abll back & forth a 1 yr old would know how to play .i know all of you will think different but thats ok ,only a few really understand what i was saying anyways.

if the yelling is all you were pissed about then why didnt you say that. you said you were mad cause they didnt let him play. and beleave it or not 12 yr olds do baby sit , I did when I was 12. and both my sisters did they are 13 and 15 now. then youve got them for 3 years cause once they start drivign its very rare that they baby sit .and jsut because everyone dosnt agree with you you dont have to get an attitude and get pissy.

Hi!

I dropped out of this discussion and just sat back and watched the posts for a little while. I'm surprised that it's still going on!

Anyway, I agree that it's rude for the kids to yell at your son. But what are you going to do? They are not your kids to police. But again, I think that they didn't have to play with him.

About the babysitting. I remember babysitting when I was 12. I think that I was too young. I hated it and remember being a nervous wreck being in someone else's house. But my parents wanted me to have a job and I wanted money. We have a couple of young neighbors who babysit as a team (12 and 14) they are sisters and I trust them for daytime stuff, but not the whole going to bed routine. I have a couple of girls that I used to work with (Chaldean girls, very religious so they don't go out with boys, probably will have arranged marriages)they both have a lot of siblings and used to work daycare and they are 21 years old. I pay them a lot, but they are my night-time babysitters.

Good luck with this discussion!

wow how things get so out of hand i do believe i did say i was mad cause they yelled "NO YOU CAN'NT PLAY"&YES I FELT BAD CAUSE THEY DID NOT WANT TO PLAY WITH HIM.AS FAR AS GETTING AN ATTITUDE & AS YOU PUT IT "PISSY" NO I DO'NT THINK SO. LIKE I SAID BEFORE EVERYONE HAS THEY OWN BELIEVES/OPIONS ABOUT THINGS IF WE DID'NT THEN WE WOULD LIFE IN ONE BORING WORLD!I i also said "I" WOULD NOT HAVE A 12 YR OLD BABYSIT "MY SON".i aslso would like to say i do not have an attitude about this ,the one thing i did/do have an attitude about was the post saying basically i was lying about me having no drugs while i had my son. first off i have no reason to lie about that nor would i ever lie about something like that.i did have no drugs i had them after for all the pain .there was no time for them to give me drugs or my son would of died.thats where i have the attitude &pissy as you put it.as my son grows up there will be i'm sure alot of kids that will not want to play with him &kids he will not want to play with .funny how people read things there own way rather than the way it's written. one more thing i did say in the last post "sorry if this is comming off rude"
