I don't know exactly what happened but I think there was a shootout or something down the block here. There were about six or seven state trooper cars and trucks outside and a few troopers were going door to door to make sure that everyone was okay and no one had been hurt by any stray bullets. Not exactly something I could have gone back to sleep after. DH was working night shifts and wouldn't be home for a few hours and the dog barking woke Noah up but we were all okay. I didn't even hear anything, I had been sleeping so hard. I wouldn't have even heard the trooper at the door if the dog didn't start barking at the doorbell.

We've been trying to find the story on the news or in the newspaper but we can't find anything about it. Go figure. Something that actually applies to me and I can't find any information about it!

Hey, my name is Tasha and I have 2 children. Jace is Two and a half and Keira is 6 months. I know just how you feel! Jace is all over the place and it seems like he does the oppisite of everything i tell him. He is sooo smart though, so i feel like he is messing with me. I love him to death and wouldnt trade him for anything though. Then there is Keira who is getting to a fun age but needs lots of attention still. If it isnt Jace needing me, then it is Keira. Somedays I feel like a failure because I have to yell at Jace all the time and chase him then I dont have anything left to give Keira. I dont have friends of my own and I am trying to get a computer to connect with people like me. I just wanted to let you know you aren't alone.

Yeah, things like that don't happen very often here so it was really shocking. There aren't gangs that I know of in our town, but there are the wannabe thug type kids and that was probably who was to blame. *sigh* It's okay. It keeps it in my mind how I don't want my children

Oh my, you have to do something for yourself. Get cabinet locks and gates! That will give you so much peace of mind and you will exert less energy trying to get up so quickly all the time. When I was pg with my second, if I had to do that all the time, I wouldn't have been able to keep up either!
