I am new to the stay at home thing, and am adjusting. But I think I would like to try to bring in a little money for our household. Just a little something that i could do just to help out~~any ideas? I am going to post this on the Working from home page also--just thought I would try to get any ideas you might have. TIA~~Angie

Hi there,

I am also a stay-at-home mom. My DH recently left me and my 19 month old DD. In order to be able to continue to be a SAHM, I have to work. I have found a great compromise. I am a Health Benefits broker for a large company called AmeriPlan. I help people save money on health care costs by providing a low-cost discount health benefits package of Dental, Vision, Prescription, and Chiropractic. AmeriPlan will be offering general health benefits and veterinary benefits in the near future as well.

They employ all independent brokers instead of staffing their company. It's totally flexible hours from your house because you are your own boss. I spend about 8 to 10 hours per week, and I made $500 in my first 6 weeks with them. Some people have made $2000 in their first 3 weeks.

Check out my site for some details: http://iboplus.com/lgrand

Also, my contact infomration is on my site, so if you want to email me or call me with any questions, I would be happy to share this opportunity with you. I really think it's a great way for SAHM's to supplement their income.

Good luck!

Regards,

Lisa

Hi Angie.

Sorry I don't have an answer for you. I'm new here and just wanted to let you know that I am with you so I will be watching to see the responses.

I am also a new SAHM (May 18,2004) that would like to contribute some money. Most people already considered me a SAHM because I was working very few hours. I recently quit my job altogether though because I was working in Retail and working a lot of weekend and Holiday hours and missing out on all of our time together as a Family. My dh works weekdays with a half day every other Saturday and all Holidays off. Also, my son has some developmental delays and without a proper "Medical Diagnosis" yet he will be losing PT and OT services in a week. It is very important that I become his therapists for now. So I was also trying to find something that I could do on my own time.

Thanks!

Beth

Hi, mommygavin, I would like to let you in on something that I am doing for an at-home business. It is called The MOM Team. We represent a company called Melaleuca: The Wellness Comapany. Melaleuca sells amazing products and they provide some great services. If you would like to check that out, go to www.melaleuca.com. Now, we don't personally sell anything, you don't have to take orders or do any inventory. You just simply do what I am doing, which is trying to get other people as interested in the business as I am, and becoming a preferred customer to Melaleuca. For example, if you enroll, I would get 7% commission of your monthly purchases, and whomever you get enrolled, you & I both receive 7% of that persons purchases, and so on. It adds up very quick, and you will see the many advantages of doing your own at-home business. Did you know that at the end of the year, your monthly pusrchases are tax deductable. And get this... so is your internet service bills and your phone bills. That is what really got me. If you would like to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity, please visit my website, www.shonnaj.info. Thank you for your time, and I hope you are willing to consider the benefits of Melaleuca: The Wellness Company.

Best of Luck,

Shonna Jenkins
