I should have taken him yesterday but his dad reassured me it probably was not broken(Logan was visiting form noon-4 yest.).Since when do I ever trust him?(Long story, pertaining to how he got his IDIOT name)I put a splint on it(yes,I own my own,LOL)and gave him Motrin. He is still in serious pain(talked tohim at 3AM).So I think I will have it done to be safe.

If Motrin and a splint didn't help the pain, then it's more than just a sprain.

Logan already has Tylenol # 3 w/codeine prescribed but it is for tomorrow when he has oral surgery.(gettgin 8 teeth pulled) I wanted to wait unti after the surgery before he takes it.It's alright to take Motrin the days before surgery.
Our appt. for an x-ray is today at 10:50.

He just called me and said 'oh,they are just cracked?".I said NO BROKEN. This is th epart about being divorced I hate, the other parent is an IDIOT.

Logan was at his dad's and he was rough housing with his dad's friend and he apparently fell on him.Logan as not in alot of pain, like he should have been with a break. When his dad brought him home,he down played it like it was not big deal.
I checked it out, iced it more(not alot of swelling but it was bruised).I put a splint on it and did the wait and see.Logan did not complain hardly at all about pain. But by next morning I wanted an x-ray just to be sure. The bones are together so there was nothing to feel.It does not look broke and he is not in alot of pain.He may be when he has oral surgery today though.
