Indiana's application touts the new school evaluation system that gives schools A-F grades. That's a real initiative for improvement???
The new system gives bonus points for the speed of improvement. To me that says more pressure, cheat now, and just more of the same.
Why isn't the application based on innovative teaching methods, teacher creativity, individualized methods and materials etc?
No, and I'm glad.
