Although I am still legally unemployed, which I am trying to remedy. I have been doing all the things I really want to do and I am very proud of myself.

I am an author: http://www.bookemon.com/book-profile/sofie-bear-and-the-pock-pocks-go-to-kindergarten/271158

I have my own website and blog: www.teachertalkonline.com

I've started my own support group and non-profit: Teachers Telling Truth Inc. (you'll see the info on my website)

And now an internet radio host: http://tobtr.com/s/4808327   That is the link today's show. The name of my show is Come and Pour the T with me.

We are telling the TRUTH about the teaching profession. Hope you call can listen today and call in. (347) 326-9325

I am still very worried about making a living. It was hard enough to begin with. I am looking for work everyday, but in the process of all that, I am finally doing the things I've alway had in mind and heart to do.

I am so excited about all to come. I have fundraisers set up for my non profit and friends who want to help.  Looking forward to all the good things to come and I'm going back to being a teacher assistant. I need the freedom to work on my own projects but still working in education.

Oh and I'm also gonna take classes this summer. Yep, it's time to do me.

Love to you all.

GT, I'm so proud of you! You have taken the steps to take real control and make your life what you want it to be. I hope you can now keep the focus on making your dreams come true. Best wishes and hopes for your success!

My only other comment is, What the h--- took you so long?

I did try this years ago, but it never took off. Now in this age of easy access to technology and the wonderful world of Google and the internet, all the things I did, I did for free. Well the website cost money and filing for non profit status cost money.  But overall, I've spent very little to get all this going.

I thought my life was going to go in different directions before, but now that it hasn't its just time to develop my brand.

Don't worry I have no other option now but to be successful. Thanks for always being in my corner and supporting me. Even though I get in my own way, you've never made me feel like a fool and I love ya for that.

Hope you read my book and liked it. I'd love your thoughts on it.

Yes, I've read it. It's a good start despite the limitations of the software and dealing with the online version instead of the whole thing. How are the other things going? I don't Twitter or use  Facebook for anything other than to long on to other sites and check pages now and then so I've not checked out your pages and posts there. I know it's weird for someone who teaches technology, but I just don't have the interest in following everyone else or sharing every detail of my life. It all seems boring and mundane to me.

I'm ready to change my life too. I'm ready to do whatever I want whenver I want to. Work interferes with that so I don't want to do it anymore. I'm just done with education and the chaos of standardized testing and administrators that jump on every bandwagon they find. I'm done with having a place to be every day and a certain time I must be there. I want to do whatever interests me in my own time. That's my change. We have two trips planned for the summer and several projects around here. I also have a stack of books to read and my Kindle is charged and loaded up too.

I'm here to listen and help any time you want to talk.  I think you will enjoy using your creativity and making a real effort to help others without being judged and stressed by the system. Don't give up!!!! You know you can make it happen if you keep your focus on what really matters.
