All the same issues I had last year have reared their ugly head yet again and I'm thinking maybe it's time I bowed out of education for a while. I know it's early in the year, but I'm starting my search early. I have absolutely no idea what other jobs my degree would help me get. Any ideas, fellow educators? I'll be searching education jobs, too, of course, but those are few and far between in my state at the moment. Thankfully, there's a large city that's only a 45 minute commute if nothing else pans out.

I can't offer a lot of helpful advice because I've generally has the door slammed in my face when I apply for anything

I was also going to suggest corporate trainer. Would you consider doing online teaching? My dh and bff both do it. They work for the kind of colleges you see advertised on TV. Most of the students are getting AA degrees. It can be quite lucrative. My bff makes 25K a year and that is just working part-time as she has a full time job.
