When I was teaching fulltime, occasionally students would come, but not often. If they did, I'd happily include them. But I could deal with either.

It kind of depends on the conference.

My district has been doing standards based, student-led conferences for years, now, so the kid HAS to be there.

Just had my daughtets and her teacher said she was doing great. But they seem tp be a lot shorter. When I was a kid the conferences lasted a good half hour. Now theyre 10 minutes.
