I've never posted here before but I read the threads all the time! My name is Amy and I am a teacher for SXI (physically and mentally impaired) preschoolers. I also have two boys, Rodney and Davy. They are both adopted and have special needs to varying degrees.
Davy will be going to kindergarten this coming fall. He was in the Michigan School Readiness program for preschool which uses the highschope approach (highscope.org). So far he has learned his letters but not their sounds. Is there a phonics program I could purchas so I could work on letter sounds over the summer? Davy is ADHD and has mild lead poisoning from being in abandoned buildings when he was a baby. He is slow to learn things so I need something with LOTS of repitition. TIA-Amy
