School email pals...

Hello,

I am French, and live in a very small village in Eastern France. I have a 11 nearly 12yo son, 2 dogs and 2 cats, and work from home with my husband for a company based in Paris.

In my village, there is a very small school, and kids start to learn English at 3rd grade. I volunteer at the village council and am in charge with the school stuff. The 2 teachers (there are 28 pupils in all from 1st grade to 5th grade) would like to find a school or a class anywhere in the U.S, connected to the Internet to exchange emails, projects, talk about traditions and differences between our cultures etc... It dosn't have to be a rural school. A class in a town school will do.

Sooo, if there is a teacher on this board, or someone who knows a school or class that would be interested, please let me know.

Sorry for my English ; I have lived in the UK 4 years but that was 10 years ago... So it is not that good anymore ;-) .

Thanks in advance, for your replies,

Nadege

Get opportunity! I'll tell my friends who teach in elementary classrooms.

Could you post an e-mail address where a teacher can contact you? I know of someone who is very interested.

Yes sure ! Thanks a lot Sherry !

My email addy is nadege.dumont@free.fr That is my own address and not the school's one, as we are currently installing a DSL connection there. Also, school only starts again on Sept 2nd here. If the teacher you know is interested, then I will inform her/him of the school address as soon as we get it.

Thanks again and have a great day !
