Hi Beth. Here's some commiseration coming at you. I have no idea why you are still unemployed. I can

"Many of the aides and tutors were certified teachers hoping to get a certified opening and working hard to prove themselves."

That's what I'm doing right now and it sucks, but its the only gig I could get. By the way Sherry, I love the way you think so much, all I can say is, I CONCUR.

Hi, GT! Speaking of opportunity, how does it look? Anything on the horizon?

In your position I would think that you have to be on your best behavior and bite your tongue sometimes to keep everyone happy. Taking a strong stand might step on the wrong toes.

Hey Sherry,

I'm trying. There are openings all the time, but the union is so strong and its all about senority. So many people in line ahead of me, hard to get another position. I've certainly applied. But I'm gonna hang in. Again, working in the special ed dept and its not for me.

Anywhoo, Michelle Rhee's resignation has mixed reviews, some are worried, we'll get someone worse.
