This week has been beyond strange for a variety of reasons. One of the biggest is the fact that next year, I'll be the senior member of my department: One teacher has not been rehired and the one who has been here longer than I have has resigned. I'll have two new department members to train next year.
With both of my fellow department members leaving, the thought occurred to me that the opportunity may be available for me to move classrooms. I'll be teaching a few different classes next year, but all are still in my subject areas of expertise. I traded classrooms when I first took my job here so I don't know that it would be a big issue about changing rooms again. However, I don't want to over-step my boundaries. Has anyone ever done this before?
