I understand your frustration and feelings. I can honestly say that things are much different now than when I entered the profession. It always seemed that everyone had a chance to sell themselves and be judged fairly back then. Now things have changed.

About the disability: I don't mention it to people in authority as a rule.

To answer your question, I have the education and certification to be a public school teacher, but I'm out of work and very few jobs are being posted for next year.

I have two more years, if I decide to return to college and pursue that degree, but I'm finding more teachers disheartened with the way government is handling education.
