After several months (feels like an eternity), I finally have a job interview next Friday. What do you think is the best way to answer that question? The truth is that the principal and I had a difference of opinion about the direction of the library program and since she is a vindictive autocrat working in a district that encourages the administration to crush teachers, they did not renew my contract. I don't want to lie, so how do I put the best spin on my answer, or how do you suggest I answer the question?

Hi Sherry. Sorry I haven't gotten back to you sooner. My computer crashed and I've been without one for a few days. I just got it back. I wanted to thank you for your very thoughtful and eloquent response. It's very helpful. I'd like to write in on my hand and bring with me for my interview (a la Sarah Palin :smileywink:) I'll try to remember as much of it as I can. Sometimes it really helps to get another person's point of view on things. Thanks so much!

One more idea: Think about the general questions they always ask and the points you want to make if they ask you if you have other comments or questions.
