He did it! He finally did it! AND I didn't have to sneak him in there after he was asleep like I'd tried doing in the past. All week this week I've been putting him in his room for naps. So, last night, when he was acting tired, I brought him in his room & turned on his monitor/projector that plays music...and after about 10-15 minutes he was asleep. I wasn't even planning on leaving him in there, but I didn't want to wake him up! He did wake up once though because his pacifier fell out, but I popped it back in his mouth and he went right back to sleep. That's when I was having a hard time keeping him in there b/c once he woke up & realized he wasn't in our room and he would not go back to sleep. But this time he did!!! I'm so excited and so proud! I missed him so much last night though...but it is definatly time. Ecspecially since in less than a year he'll get a big boy bed. He can't have a big boy bed in our room, it wouldn't fit! LOL! I just had to share my exciting news!!! ~Amy & Big Boy Austin (15 months)

Yay for Austin! Wren was oh... about 4.5 before she'd make it the whole night in her own bed so I certainly can imagine how you feel!

Hopefully he'll keep this up!

Hi, Congradulations! My son is 4 now but when he was younger he used to sleep with us too. He climbed out of his crib on night when he was 19 months old, and that was really it, we bought him a bed and he never slept in it, he wanted to sleep with us. He is now in a regular bed and he does good, but every morning he still comes into our bed to watch cartoons. It doesn't bother me. Now my daughter who is 15 months sleeps in her crib, but she usually wakes up at around 5 am and she won't go back to sleep unless she's in our bed. I guess it's just something you get used to.

I hope he continues to sleep in his crib for you! Good Luck!
