Ok, so I finally decided on a color for the babys room. I bought the primer and paint today. I tried some of the paint out just by itself,
then tried some with the primer down first then the paint(2 coats of the paint)..
i think they look the same. So my question is do i really need the primer? pics are attached

you dont need a primer. I was confused about it when I did Ryan's room and asked the guy at Lowes. Its really only important if your going from a dark color to a light color.

I agree with everyone else, I dont think you have to use the primer. We didnt when we painted Sailors room and I love the color. I think without primer makes the color a tad bit darker and more rich looking, which I really like. As long as the walls or white, beige, or a similar light color, I dont think primer is needed.

Thanks for the advice, Curtis started painting last night :D. We decided not to use the primer, instead we will return it since it was not needed.
