Im sorry hun. But strechmarks are genetic. So do you know if your mom or grandma ever got bad strechmarks throughout their pregnancies?

I was about 98 lbs give or take a few pounds when I got pregnant (I'm barely 5'0 though), but suprisingly I didnt get a single strechmark. I have a couple on my boobs from before I was pregnant because I have big boobs for my size that grew really fast, and I may have gotten one or two new ones while pregnant, but I dont have a single one on my belly or hips. And the one on my boobs are faded now to a whitish grey color so as long as I am my usual pale self you cant tell at all. :). My mom has a few and my grandma didnt have any though. I really think that Shea and Coco butter help though!Oh and also I used to rub vitamin E butter/lotion stuff on as well.

Ya so everyone tells me (about them being genetic). i beleive mom had quite a bit.. but then again she gained like 70 pounds with me and 90 with my bro.. so obviously ur bound to get a few with that much extra weight lol. im not sure about my grandmothers.

Ya i was about 120 pounds when i first got pregnant.. and as of my last appointment i beleive i had gained 16 pounds. ya i dont think my boobs will get any.. im not exactly "gifted" in that department.. but i have gone up a size :D lol. wow ur really lucky not to have gotten any. Curtis noticed them on me.. and then i looked and just started crying. He just sat there and held me and told me

Yes they definately fade. The ones on the tops of my boobs were redish purple for about a year and then slowly faded. They are completely white now, BUT if I have a tan they show, but luckily I dont think anyone would even notice them if I was in a bikini or something, so hopefully the ones on your hips are the same way. So yeah like I said, they will fade after time, but if your skin is darker than the color they fade to they will still show.

I got them baaaadly on my stomach with tara, they were horrible looking! It started about 20 weeks and by the end they were red and purple and really painful looking and I would cry looking at them. They go from about my belly button up to my mid section. But (and heres the good news) they fade a TON! and honestly youll get so used to them that you wont even care! im sure your thinking that will never happen but its true you wont care all that much itll just be apart of you and thell be so faded that it wont even be a big deal. Im now 8 months pregnant and the stretch marks arnt looking that bad there more noticable but no whare near as bad as they were in my first pregnancy there just getting a little red purply colored at the top and thats it.

I know it sucks but they really will fade to all most nothing.

Yup mine started really early on, it sucked and really looked horrible at the end, buit like i said there not that bad after they fade especially if you lose the baby weight. It took me about a year for them to look pretty good. But almost right away the intensity of them went away but it took at least a year for them to look like little silvery lines. I gained about 25 pounds in that pregnancy and i wasnt that big at all, so its deffinetly just genetics and not anything you could avoid. Hang in there, when you see your daughters face it wont matter at all. I never wore bikinis or showed my stomach even before pregnancy so it wasnt that big of a deal.
