Hi girls,

I am actually the mom of a 14 year old boy and I have a question for you if you don't mind.

Recently, I found out that my son and his gf were planning on starting a sexual relationship and I was wondering what type of advice you would give the two of them if you could. I think it would be nice if they could hear advice from someone who has been where they are now and to let them know what can happen and if you could do it all over again, would you?

I would just tell them that things can go wrong even if they use condoms and birth control. Me and my bf used condoms and I still got pregnant so I would say don't do it unless you can deal with what can go wrong. If I could do it all over again I don't think I would have had sex when I did, not that we weren't ready but I wasn't ready for the things that could go wrong. USE PERTECTION!!!

welcome!! I'm 18 yrs old. I got pregnant at 15 and had a miscarriage. Now at 18 I have a 13 month old daughter that I absolutely love. Abt the poopy diapers, you get used to it. They become one of the less noticeable parts of parenting. And the crying-- well you're gonna have to put a lot of patience. They may cry a lot in the begining but trust me it only gets better. Remeber that hey cry bc they have no means of communication. As they get older and learn how to communcate through grunts, facial expressions and other ways, they dont cry as much.
