18, underweight, pregnant & a smoker

Hi everyone. I'm really in need of advice. I'm 18, I'm 5'7'' and 107 pounds. That leaves me with a BMI of 16.76. I fought very hard to to get to this weight from 160 pounds and now it seems impossible to put the weight back on. I don't have an eating disorder or anything. I just quit consuming all the desserts, candy and soda everyday and joined swim team. These are things that no one should consume too much of anyway but this weight seems unnatural, despite my method of getting to it. Now that I'm 5 weeks pregnant, I've been trying to put on weight because I know this isn't healthy for the baby. I've been eating right but nothing seems to work. It doesn't help that I have been a major party girl lately. I never got into serious drugs but I was smoking a pack a day, drinking everyday and occasionally taking way too much medicine. I was doing this into the 2nd week of my pregnancy until I found out and quit cold turkey. I'm still having major cravings. I'm wondering what being underweight, a former smoker and user of alcohol and DXM will do to my baby. Have I already screwed it up and how do I fix it? I really need the advice here since I live in Utah and the Mormons here have the tendency to be judgmental and I can't ask them. Also, the father seems reluctant to be involved. Any advice would be appreciated.

I'm sorry for everything you are going through :(

About your weight, there are certain medications your doctor could prescribe for you to gain weight so you should see him as soon as possible! If you are very worried about the judgmentalism, you may wish to seek out a title X clinic in your area. Good luck! *hugs*

i dont think you did anything to the baby if you stopped at 2 weeks.
You should be okay
As far as your weight just try eating snacks here and there and a good portioned meal. your weight will come.
Im 16 and 21 weeks pregnant and in the beginning of my pregnancy i couldnt eat anything because of all the morning sickness so i was weighing about 110 around my 8th to 14th week.im 5'1.
Many weeks have passed and now im up to 120.
Its okay to have desserts and chips and candy but do limit yourself and try to eat more veggies and fruits and meat.
But the partying definitely has to stop and try not to be around people that are smoking whether it be cigarettes or street drugs cause that can result in miscarriage, stillbirth, or a preemie.
Only reason i know all this is from reading and asking my doctor all types of questions which is what i recommend you really do.
When you have an appointment let your doctor know EVERYTHING and your doctor will tell you what to do, what not to do, what to eat, and what not to eat.
You'll be fine and so will your baby as long as you stay healthy.
Always think about your baby before you think about smoking or drinking.
