New to all this.

Hi, I'm Jessica and I'm 18. I'm 9 weeks pregnant with my first child. I'm still in school and living with my parents. (SO also) My parents are always bringing it up that I'm pregnant in high school, and I'm not sure how to deal with it. My SO works and we're trying to move out, but it'll be a while. Any advice on how to talk to them or deal with the situation? :smileysad:

Hi, Jessica. Welcome! Your SO lives with you and your parents? How is that going?

I think your parents might just be in shock. My sister found out she was pregnant while she was in high school at 18. Somehow, my mom managed to make the situation about her and not my sister. How long have they known about the pregnancy? Do you have anyone other than your parents to talk to about things?

Hello Jessica. I'm Cheyenne. I first got pregnant at 18(the night of graduation), and sadly lost that pregnancy, however was 18 when I got pregnant again with my son Carsyn. I'm sure that since you are still very early in your pregnancy your parents are more in shock that this is happening then anything else. It's never easy to hear that your baby is going to have a baby.

How is you SO? Supportive? How is school and a job going for either of you?
