Im about 27-28 weeks along and due in March. however my baby girl (love her to bits) is growing very quickly and developing faster then normal. so they are pretty sure she will be at least a little early. I have been getting Braxton Hicks for the last week or so now and they are not too bad. I now am getting very nervous for birth as im only 16 and weighed 109lbs before baby. Im now 165lbs and dont like it so much. i have never witnessed a birth of any kind...im kinda wondering if there is anything i should be warned about before i go into labour...


also if anyone has advice that would be great


(my mom said she crapped herself during birth...is that to be expected?)

Well when you go into labor, you'll know its not braxton hicks, at first it usually starts in your back, then moves around to your stomach. They will get stronger, hurt more, and will be getting close together. You'll go to the hospital, they ask a bunch of questions, get you all hooked up, they might break your water, and depending on if you want it or not, they'll give you the epidural. They'll be checking you every now and then to see how you are dialating. They'll tell you when to push, the baby will come, they'll keep puching on your stomach to get

i ha braxton hicks for awhile when i was preggo too. but they went away. i weighed about 120 before, and by the end i was 161, but 5 days after igave birth, i got weighed again and i was down to 140. breastfeeding really helps take off the pounds too. well one thing i was warned about was the shakyness, some women shake from head to toe & cant control it. i did towards the end. oh ya and after you give birth, your uterus contracts to go back to go to normal, & it hurts! my cousin never knew about it & it really scared her.
yes what your mom said is very common! alot of women dont even notice it though, because the nurses clean it away so fast. it happened to me, and beleive me you dont care lol.
