I am responding to this post only because I was one of the people that tried to tell you not to try to get pregnant a few months back.
ITA with you Erin!

I don't want to threadjack BUT I do want to say
I'm so disappointed. I was really hoping that you weren't pregnant. I thought that maybe it was just my hormones taking over when your post upset me so much, but I know it must not be hormones because everyone on here seems to have the same thoughts as me. I just can't understand why you would WANT to have a baby at 14. That is how old you said you are, right? Maybe I'm missing something here, but I just don't see why you would do this. It's really unfortunate that you are pregnant, but now that you are you should really start trying to mature and stop being so selfish. You really need to start thinking about all of your options, and try and plan out what it is you are going to do. You're going to have a tough road ahead of you, and you have no one to blame for that but yourself. For your baby's sake I wish you luck. But aside from that, as the other ladies said their will be no congratulations coming from me.

She actually said she was 13. I am sorry to all the girls on here that didn'y plan their pregnancy, that used birth control and were responsible and this still happened to you, but I have to say, this board has seriously gone downhill. I don't know what it is but it seems like the girls here just keep getting younger. Maybe people are right and movies like Juno and shows like the secret life really aren't helping. They aren't showing the symptoms, the physical stress on the body, the things that can go wrong, the financial aspect. It has all these naive little girls thinking pregnancy is a tummy getting bigger and a baby coming out and everything just falling into place because that's how it happens in TV land. It's really really sad. Like a kid watching superman and trying to jump off the couch and fly. It's incredibly sad.
Erin I am so so so sorry for you. I wish so much you could get pregnant and have a baby of your own and I am so sorry you have to go through all this. =

Amy, You made a good point. Although I don't think it can be blamed on the media alone. I think it might be a combination of that and lack of parenting. Seriously what kind of parent is even
