Yesterday was still a bad day.
I haven't been "sick" this long in a long time.

Anyway, I ate:

slice of wheat toast with margarine and jam
cranberry muffin (no sugar added) with margarine
an orange
1/4 cup of chocolate soy milk

rice crispy square (no marshmallow, sweetened with barley malt)

grilled rice cheese sandwich
rice crispy square
1 cup of soy chocolate milk
stalk of celery
slice of veggie bologna
water

rice crispy square
water
herbal tea

2 black bean and rice burritos
1 cup black bean corn chips with salsa
1 1/2 cups tossed salad with oil and vinegar dressing
water

herbal tea
rice crispy square

EXERCISE:

nada

Saturday I ate:

3/4 cup peanut granola with rice milk
1/2 banana
about 1/2 cup of grapes
2 wedges of melon

1/2 McDonald's double cheeseburger
large fries
medium diet coke

fruit protein smoothie

2 toasts topped with diced tomatoes in olive oil and garlic
water

2-3 cups of salted popcorn
bottle of root beer

TOTAL CALORIES: 2000

EXERCISE:
was feeling a bit better
but didn't push it by doing too much
so just did housework, errands etc.

Saturday I ate:

2 wedges of melon - good, but if this is all breakfast, then it is a lot of fruit and calories!

peanut granola?? That sounds really yummy! WTG on the fruit............. I really need to replace my sugar with some good fruit. :(

I am feeling a bit better now and starting to get back into my life.

Sunday I ate:

1 cup soy milk

2 homemade raisin buns with margarine
2 cups fresh fruit salad

water

black bean and rice burrito
1 cup organic corn chips
salsa
water

homemade chocolate peanut butter cup

1 1/2 cups tossed salad with oil and vinegar dressing
dozen round organic crackers (like Ritz)
1 1/2 cups homemade rice soup
2 slices of homemade wheat toast with olive oil and garlic
water

3/4 cup pink lemonade

2 large glasses of water (about 4 cups)

(drank a lot of water....guess I dehydrated last week from the OD of adrenaline)

TOTAL CALORIES: approx 1700

EXERCISE:

just daily activities....
cooking, showering, cleaning, child care etc.
30 minutes of snowmobiling
30 minutes of dragging a toboggan around with baby in it

Monday didn't work out as planned....but ah well....

I ate:

2 homemade raisin buns with margarine
orange
a banana
water

2 1/2 cups of cabbage salad
thin slice of homemade wheat bread with margarine
herbal tea

herbal tea

1 1/4 cups of fried rice
1 cup of steamed broccoli and cauliflower topped with a slice of rice cheese
fried mushrooms with garlic and green onions
apple juice

2 slices of fruit couscous cake (sweetened with apple juice and dried fruit/no sugar)

3 cups of buttered popcorn with yeast flakes
one can of diet cola (no caffeine)

TOTAL CALORIES: about 2200

EXERCISE:
no sitter so could not go to gym
so
walked the dog 10 minutes
played outside with babies in snow, pulled toboggan...about 1 hour total
about an hour of housework after work (laundry, cooking, washing floors, vacuum, dust etc.)

Tuesday March 6

I ate:
3 eggs, scrambled
slice of toast with margarine
earl grey tea

an orange
1/4 banana

2 1/2 cups of fresh fruit salad
1 cup macaroni and cheese
piece of couscous cake
earl grey tea

soda crackers

Ritz-like crackers with peanut butter
slice of toast with olive oil and garlic
2 cups of rice soup

piece of couscous cake
apple juice

herbal tea

TOTAL CALORIES: approx 2000
(I burn about 1750-2000 a day)

EXERCISE:
20 minutes on a recumbent bike at Level 2
20 minutes working out on weight machines
45 minutes clearing rest of the parking lot with snowblower (big heavy one!)
and the usual 10 minute walk with the dog, child care etc.

I weighed myself at the gym...I GAINED 0.5 lbs !!!!!

I hate diets!
