Ok, so I made a New Year's resolution to take off 27 pounds by June. So far, I've only lost 2... (well, I lost 5 and then gained back 4 and then lost 2 again). Anyway, I think the reason it has been so slow is that I haven't had support or accountability. So that's what I'm seeking here. I thought I might post some weight-related status messages on my facebook profile, but I don't really want everyone I know to be able to see that.
Anyway, my mission is to lose 25 lbs by June 1st. I'm getting married in early June, and I'm wearing a sleeveless dress. I also want to have sculpted shoulders and a nice-looking upper back. So, I'm running (30-45 minutes) 3 times a week and weights with a cardio element 2 days a week. I'm also training for a half-marathon, so I'll do a long run (5 miles or more) one day a week. I just bought a hoodia supplement that I'm taking once a day and I'm limiting my snacking. I'm vegan. I eat healthy food all the time, so that's no big change, I just need to limit chips and crackers (don't have much of a sweet tooth).
So, that's my story (and I'm stickin' to it!). Wish me luck as I start down this road!
