Well, I got back from my vacation early morning of July 28th. We had a wonderful time at home and Michigan and I am SO proud of myself, I actually managed to loose 3 lbs! I am now weighing 177 and 10 more pounds and I'll finally have lost all my pregnancy weight!! I know my Mom was a super big help while I was home. We at in most of the time and it was either baked or grilled. I had fresh lake trout 3 times thanks to my brother's awesome fishing skills. It was so good on the grill, I really miss that now that I'm home. I'm going to make more of an effort to eat grilled fish at least once a week, it really seemed to help me and I know it's super healthy. We also ate a lot of fresh veggies. A couple of nights we had fresh spinach salad with the vinegar dressing. It has bacon on it but we drastically reduced the amount of fat that was put in so it wasn't too bad and the spinach was wonderful.

I also managed to do a lot of walking (not as much as I wanted to but it was so hot!), got out on my bike a few times and I even went rollerblading! Just our everyday activities kept us going. Playing at the park with Paige, going to the beach, it was really awesome.

Another thing I'm really proud of is when I went to visit with my girlfriend. We had some pizza for dinner and to help counter all the fat in it I did 30 minutes of water aerobics in the hotel pool. :) There was so much food while I was home and I had my bad moments but for the most part I kept to eating low fat and smaller quantities.

Celebration time, we'll see what I weigh in tomorrow at my Dr's appointment. :)

Well, the weight is not where I thought it would be. I'm back up to 182...maybe water retention? I really hate "that time of the month" I feel awfully bloated.

Thanks Sue!

I feel SOOOOO much better today!

Drum roll please.....I'm down a pants size! I've had 2 new pairs of capri pants put away since we first moved out here (this is year 2 for us). The now fit and they fit nice...not tight! WOOHOO!

Today I also did about 30 minutes of exercise in my IL's exercise room. Now all I need to do is turn the tread mill towards the TV and I'll really be in business. I tend to look at the darn numbers too much and the TV will help me keep going.

WOOHOO I can do it!

Jodi (I'm so tired I could fall over, night all!)

I am so tired I can hardly stand it. I had to drive to one of our other store's today, it's usually an hour but it took longer due to road construction. Why I'm so tired, well my allergies are killing me. :( I just have no energy and the allergy medicine is not helping. I know I should have tried to exercise but my head is about to explode, how do you exercise through that?

Thankfully I had a great day food wise. I had a piece of my homemade bread this morning with some cantaloup, a low fat sandwich for lunch and chicken and rice for dinner. Ok I did have an apple bar but it wasn't too bad considering it was a middle piece with less crust that and outer piece! lol

Now it's time to hit the hay for me. I was going to work on some web pages but my allergy eyes can't deal with it right now.

You do what you can with allergies.

I had a much better day today. Allergies are doing better and I made myself exercise today and felt so much better after I did! 20 minutes on the tread mill, 10 on a rowing type machine to work on my upper body. I felt so much better after I did exercise! I think I'm going to talk to my IL's about replacing one of their exercise equipment pieces with something differen. They have a glider type thing, you know the psycho dude in the Geico commercial? Well that thing don't work for crap and I feel like i'm going to fall off it! So I'd like to see them give it back to it's owner and maybe we can get something different.

I also had a fairly good eating day. Healthy homemade bread and coffee for breakfast. A nice salad for lunch, ok I had some tortilla chips and salsa but at least the salsa isn't bad! For dinner baked potato, chicken and green beans. Snack of popcorn (my weakness!) and LOTS of water.

Today I wore a white shirt I bough back around Easter time. I got it home and washed it before I tried it on, it was an XL it should fit...well back then it looked awful. Too many rolls and fat showing, the shirt was tight and I hated it. Today it looked great. Sure the rolls appeared when I sat down but we can't be perfect at this point!

I'm going to be shoppign for new pants soon. Mine are no longer fitting! I figure the thrift stores will be great for now until I get to where I want to be. :)

Things have been so busy and crazy I have not had a chance to post. I actually got in 3 days of exercise last week, including treadmill jogging!

Drumroll please, I'm down to 170! That is a total loss of 28 lbs! I can't believe it. I sure do hope it stays off. If I continue the way I have been, eating healthy and starting to exercise more, than I should be able to loose this weight and keep it off. :)

I bought an exercise ball today. I'm going to start using that at home and maybe even develop some exercises to do while I crochet.

Happy week all!
