Well, I've managed 2 days in a row of good exercise! Yesterday was 30 minutes on the treadmill and I braved the Mountain hike program, those inclines are killer at 4 mph! lol I got a little tired and had to slow it down but it was a great workout. Today I worked on arms and abs to keep things even. I'm actually starting to enjoy it more and not feel like it's something I HAVE to do. I guess it really helps that I'm seeing results and the people around me are so supportive. I'm so close to my goal of 167 for labor day, I really think I can do it! Especially if I keep up with the exercise.
I'm proud of the fact that I have been having a monster craving for french fries from Wendy's and today I went there for lunch.....and bought a baked potato with reduced fat sourcream (new addition I didn't know about) and butter and a side salad! No french fries for me :). I felt good driving off because I resisted that craving. The potato is my big weakness along with chocolate and I hadn't had one in a few days lol. Last night I ate with the in-laws, salad and baked fish, so that was a nice meal.
I do have a new addiction, diet lipton green tea with citrus! Man they are good and really seem to help my sweet tooth, plus I don't feel as bad drinking it as I do the diet soda's. I've really cut back on those and I'm trying to cut out coffee as much as I can, so the green tea has been my replacement. To help my munchies for sweets I've been chewing fruit flavored sugar free gum. So far it's helping my sweets cravings and I hope it continues.
Good week already, I hope it continues. :)
Well, I weighed in 4 lbs heavier than I did on Monday but my clothes still fit fine so I'm thinking water weight. They were very happy with my progress and will continue to monitor what I eat and so on. I'll be able to call in instead of going up there every month. It's a little drive, 3 hours long with all the stupid construction. :)
I need to up the exercise to 5 times a week and continue eating the healthy way I have been. DH is even started to eat healthier so that will be a big help to me!
Thanks for the suggestions and positive feedback. It sure is nice to have this board to come to for support. I know it has made all the difference in the world for me!
Well, tomorrow is the big day. I go to see the Dr and get officially weighed in. I'm kind of nervous. I always seem to weigh more when I go to the Dr's and I KNOW my scale is accurate at the office! Heck, we have a newer scale at our store than the Dr has in her office and I've checked it with a 10 lb weight. Anyway, my appointment is for 11am so I'm going to have a light breakfast of yogurt and fruit and water, maybe a green tea would help lol. I have been out of my weight loss pills for almost a week now so we'll see how things are going to go. :|
Got some exercise in today, 20 minutes on the treadmill, 15 of it was jogging, 5 minutes on the exercise bike and 5 minutes on this strange rowing type machine my MIL has lol. You push down with your legs and pull up with your arms at the same time. I get a good burn in my arms and can change hand position to work different arm muscles. I use it in place of push-ups since those hurt my wrist something bad!
Oh, on a happy note, since I've started to eat right and exercise I hardly ever have to take my pain medication anymore! WOOHOO! Now if only it would fix my hormonal imbalance...I doubt it but one can hope. I'd love to be medication free (well, I'll keep my allergy medicine lol).

Things have been so busy and crazy I have not had a chance to post. I actually got in 3 days of exercise last week, including treadmill jogging!
Drumroll please, I'm down to 170! That is a total loss of 28 lbs! I can't believe it. I sure do hope it stays off. If I continue the way I have been, eating healthy and starting to exercise more, than I should be able to loose this weight and keep it off. :)
I bought an exercise ball today. I'm going to start using that at home and maybe even develop some exercises to do while I crochet.
