I thought it would be enough to keep my Weight Watchers personal journal online, but I think I need the accountability of a journal where I know at least one other person will see it.

I used "Magic Dust" as my emoticon because I need a little to get the motivation and to get the weight off!

This is a wonderful bunch of women here and they really are great cheerleaders whether its good or bad we are all in this together and with each others help it can only make this journey alittle easier. Pass the magic dust please LOL LOL

Thursday 3/8.

8:30am
1 Shredded Wheat biscuit w/ 1/2 tsp sugar & 4 oz skim milk
Banana

10:00am
60-calorie Dannon yogurt

1:00pm
1/2 chicken quesadilla w/ 1/2 tsp sour cream
baby carrots
1 pirouette cookie

3:30pm
South Beach Diet high-protein cereal bar
1 cup grapes

4:30pm
2 mini biscotti (<30 cals each)

6 or 7 wine gums - I'm so annoyed, I thought they were about 5 cals each, turns out they are about 20 cals each! No more of those!

6:30pm
"Dinner's not gonna be ready til 8:00?!"
6 frosted bite-size mini Wheats
12 Bachman mini pretzels
12 salted peanuts

8:00pm
4 grilled, marinated chicken wings
2 cups salad w/ 1 tsp lite dressing
1/2 cup green beans

As you can see, my downfall isn't lattes or ice cream or cake, it's those little nibbles of reasonably "healthy" foods from mid-afternoon until dinner - I'm sure it's no coincidence that happens during my "tired" and "bored" times of day. I am a morning & night person, NOT an afternoon or evening person.

The only liquids I drink are water, seltzer, and black coffee or tea.

No exercise. I have had sciatica for a couple of weeks and am currently trying to calm the inflammation with rest, ice, and Advil.
