August already! Wow!

Starting point in January: 211 lbs, weight as of last Friday: 158- loss of 53 lbs! Goal is currently 145 lbs, so I have 13 to go.

breakfast (late b/c of my dr appt): fried egg, toast with butter

snack: 100 cal pack of cookies, diet DP

snack at gym: granola bar (they have 120 calories)

lunch: spaghetti with meatsauce

lunch #2: 1/2 spinach & guac sandwich, 2 clementines

dinner: ham, salad

snack: cookie- dh brought some home tonight, I didn't plan for it, but I am trying to make up for it

snack: grapes

if needed: snack of an apple

water: 128 oz

exercise: 20 min bike at gym (was going to do more but the child care center paged me)
30 min in the pool with the kids
20 min 'blading tonight (was going to do more again, but it was getting dark b/c I got a later start than I planned)

Dh & I are working on a computer project, so no physical activity there! We are trying to put together some slide shows of the pics of the family reunion in England for all of the families.

My dr appt today- thankfully dd slept in until 7:40 which meant I slept that long, so I didn't have as much time to be hungry as I normally would with a 6 am wake up! :) The dr thinks I might have hypothyroidism b/c of the constipation even with the good eating/water/exercise, so he did a test and if there are any problems I should hear about it tomorrow. I did some 'net research & it wouldn't surprise me one bit, I have several of the symptoms, but never realized that they could be connected to my thyroid. Will keep you posted!

snack: 1/2 cookie

snack at meeting: some fruit, a few salty crispy baked chips, diet DP

lunch: spaghetti, apple

snack: grapes

snack: pbj & 1/2 banana on graham

dinner: spaghetti, steamed broccoli

snack: not sure- probably some fruit, maybe guac

water: 96 oz

exercise: most of my 30 min am workout
didn't workout tonight b/c dh & I are still working on this computer project.

The dr office never called me today & they were supposed to if there was a problem with my bloodwork from yesterday, so no news is good news.

lunch #1: clementine, 1/2 cheese sandwich

lunch #2: 3 meat & spinach sandwich, 1/2 c mac & cheese, diet DP

snack: another 100 cal pack of cookies- I was hungry & feeling stressed about some mechanical issues with my car, needed to make phone calls to repair shops- this was easy & chocolate is stress-reducing, at least it feels that way. Not my best choice, I know, since I already had one.

snack: cantelope

dinner: chicken, salad

snack: not sure what I am going to eat- like last night my snack will be after I shut down- maybe some fruit

water: 120 oz

exercise:

40 min at LTF today- 15 elliptical, 15 bike & 10 treadmill
30 min walk tonight

Today was weigh in day. :( I gained a pound. I am at 159, so it is still a total loss of 52 lbs, but now 14 to my current goal. I didn't exercise as much this past week- tired from the trip mostly. I need to get back into doing my 1 hour or more a day!

breakfast: fried egg, toast with butter, apple

lunch #1: 3 meat & spinach sandwich, diet DP

snack: 100 cal pack of cookies

lunch #2: salad with tuna

snack: grapes

snack: 3 grahams (should have just done 1 with pb&j, will next time!)

snack: McD's ice cream- shared with the kids- ds also ate the entire cone portion

dinner: 3 meat & spinach sandwich, 2 clementines

snack: guac with wheat thins

not sure what I will eat tonight for a bedtime snack ????

water: 120 oz

exercise: 30 min yard - much needed!!!

snacked on apple while fixing lunch
lunch: ham, brown rice with little butter, salt, steamed broccoli, apple

lunch #2: started with pudding cup, realized I was still hungry & did a second lunch of grilled cheese sandwich & grapes

dinner: pork, pasta, mixed vegs, clementine

snack: 2 grahams, grapes

snack: hotdog- I really wanted 1/2 meat & spinach sandwich, but dh finished up the meat yesterday & I didn't know that when I went to the store today.

water: 112 oz

exercise: 30 min yard

lunch #1: reception at church- cheese, fruit, carrots, crackers, small punch
topped off with a Taco Bell soft taco- wasn't sure what a good choice was there

lunch #2: salad with tuna, bread with butter, grapes

dinner #1: 1/2 grilled cheese sandwich, 1/4 apple

dinner #2: 3 meat & spinach sandwich

snack- if needed: clementine or apple

water: 112 oz

exercise: 30 min active in the pool
