Today I started my diet. My weight is 175 and my goal is to weigh 130, so I’m aiming for a 45 pound weight loss. I know I can do it....I did it in the past and used this board for support (this was perhaps 4 years ago), so I'm thinking positive. Looking back, when my life became very stressful (my department was abolished and I was to be layed off...a situation which dragged on for 6 months, then I received another job in a different department in another city), and I had less time available to get on line and didn’t visit this board or fitday, and I began to gain weight. I had another big lifestyle change almost a year ago (I took an early retirement) and now believe everything has settled down where I can focus on dieting, exercising, journaling and logging my food intake (all which is necessary for me to lose weight).
So here’s to a new beginning! And I'm glad to be here :).
I plan to take my measurements this afternoon. This is one thing I’ve always regretted not doing in the past when starting a diet. But I’m not going to post them!!!
