I may have inadvertently posted this already, it disappeared while I was typing it. We'll try again.

I know this looks like I ate lots (blushing) but I was trying really hard to cut down.

Feb 26

Breakfast: 1 navel orange, 1 egg fried (no added fat), 1 slice toast with marg. 1 cup coffee with 1 tsp sugar and cream

Snack: One of my weak spots is baking. I baked raisin bars for the kids, and then lost my self control two hours into my efforts at dieting.
3 raisin bars, 1 cup coffee with 1 tsp sugar and cream

Lunch: 1 serving fat free yogurt, broccoli salad, and (gulp) another raisin bar.

Supper: 1/2 cup cooked pasta with Rose sauce, 1/4 cup cooked shrimp. I was going to make a greek salad too, but I was actually too full. I measured my water glass and realized I'd had 5 12oz glasses of water already by supper time.

My goal for tomorrow...self-control regarding the baking.

Yes, I do suppose I'm looking for suggestions/comments/support, otherwise I wouldn't put myself out there "naked" for all to read.

I had much more self-control today. I actually even really enjoyed the carrots I spent the afternoon munching on.

Feb 27

Breakfast: 1 cup coffee with 1 tsp sugar and cream. 1 orange. 1 raisin bar (because I was packing my son's lunch and the pan was easy to access)

Lunch: Sandwich made with 1 slice ww bread, little bit of marg, shaved carrots, sliced cukes and a thin slice of chicken breast. 1 pickle, and a glass of 2% milk.

Snack: carrot sticks, 1 cup coffee

Supper: 1/2 cup rice(baked with sour cream and cheese...it wasn't worth it)
broccoli and cauliflower
conservative portion of cooked chicken
glass of milk

Evening snack: hot apple cider and a cracker.

70 oz of water. I normally drink a lot of water anyway, but I am quite surprised at how much I'm getting into me now.

Exercise: I did walk my dogs for about 45 minutes, although my 5 year old was with me, so it wasn't what I would actually consider exercise!

1 egg fried with no added fat
1 slice ww toast with marg.

Snack: fat free yogurt and coffee

lunch: 1 cup of broccoli-cheese casserole
1 cookie (I baked coconut drops with my daughter)

snack: 1 orange
1 cookie
carrots and a handful of cripy minis

supper: 3 pancakes and 3 sausages with syrup
2 cups coffee

We live outside of Vancouver BC, so we have a membership at the Vancouver Aquarium. We've been there about half a dozen times since we got the membership, so it has worked out well. My kids just love to go there.

Of course, with my greek salad yesterday I did have feta cheese, and I do use yummy dressing...But I made a point of making and eating the salad about 30 miuntes before dinner was actually served thinking that if I was full of salad I'd go easier on the mac and cheese. I ended up having only about 2/3 of a cup of macaroni, which I was happy about.

Today I will really have to focus to keep on track...my husband was away and came home late last night. He is a great cook! Also, today is my dd birthday, so she and I have just finished baking her birthday cake.

Focus focus focus!
