8 Lessons from My First 5K RaceThe Most Fun You'll Have Runninghttp://www.sparkpeople.com/resource/fitness_articles.asp?id=1380
No running for me.
No, and no. I did try running about 12 years ago. Trained for first a Komen 5K, then several months later did a 10K. The entire time it was a struggle. After completing the 10K I went back to walking. I am just not a runner, it isn't easy or graceful or joyful for me. And I figured that gravity is already working fast enough on its own without the pounding of running! My dh is a runner, while sometimes it is challenging he always enjoys it.
