Sorry to hear that your Christmas note disappeared!  Seems to happen a lot lately!  If it is long I always copy it in case it goes away!  I do hear from some of the old regulars....but mostly on Facebook.  Don't think that they will be coming back, but I have tried to entice them back.  I just wish that the boards were more reliable, and that people were posting once again.  I feel like an old lady who is talking tio herself all the time!  LOL!!  Glad to see you here!  I have put the family on a diet.  I started first....and was down 12 pounds before Christmas and New Years.  My daughter is down 3 and my hubby doen 5.  It all has to do with portion control at dinner and no late night snacks.  SO far they eat what they want for breakfast and lunch...and no exercise.  Though I know when they reach a plateau that will have to change!  So far they have been pretty receptive to this.  They get a dinner portion on their plate....and no seconds.  No late night snacking....and if they want a snack during the day it has to be veggies or fruits.

Well that's about all here!  Hope that you have a Happy 2013!

Happy New Year to you too, Sue. I hope that this is a good year for you and your family.

I tried to respond to your Christmas question last week. I had a long post composed and just before I finished it, I must have hit some wrong key and it disappeared. I didn't have the time or patience to retype it...sorry. And unfortunately it seems to be just you and me here these days. Do you ever hear from the old regulars? Hopefully with the new year some iVillagers will decide to pursue weight loss and join/rejoin the board.
