cl Sue here!!  Let's see......ds decided to return to college.  Only taking one class....but if he does well there are more to come!  He's been busy working as the store is really shorthanded and for the past 3 weeks he's working 7 days a week. (most days 13 hours a day) Good money for him.;.....but he's exhausted.  Yesterday he closed the store early as no replacement came and he had to go to his class.....teacher takes off percentages for missed classes and his paper was due.....which is what he told them he would do if he didn't have a replacement.  Say a prayer that they get more help soon and that his district manager doesn't come down hard on him for closing the store.

Lizzie is doing great during her first 3 weeks of school.  She's enjoying her classes and so far the grades have been great!  Youth group has started at the church, and she has some other things to keep her busy!

My hubby has been traveling at least 2 days a week....so it's been a bit crazy sometimes being the designated parent!

I've started back to work.  Working quite a bit in the future.....and right now trying to fight off a stomach bug.  Worked yesterday because no fever, but wasn't eating much at  all.  My parents celebrated their 53'rd anniversary and my in-laws 61 years I believe as well.

I'm elc in SoCal. Married to dh for 34 years, and 2 kids ds29 and dd26, both "grown and flown" and living far away.

September doesn't bring any changes to my routine anymore, and it doesn't even bring fall weather in this region. Its just another month of summer here.

We're working on the house a little here. We have a guy repairing plaster and it looks like he will be done today (phase 2, he did several rooms in July) and once the walls are dry enough we will start painting---hopefully this weekend we can paint our bedroom so we can move back in there! We're going to hire a pro to paint the downstairs (more public rooms), that's not yet scheduled but hopefully will occur this autumn.

Other than that I'm trying to stay on track with my eating and exercise. Its still kind of hot here so difficult to exercise hard.

Painting is getting postponed from this weekend because its going to be really hot and we don't have AC in those rooms. And I also should clean the bedroom carpet while there's no furniture, so it looks like a while before we're back using those rooms. The good news is that we do have AC downstairs so at least we can be comfortable.

I cleaned the carpets after we painted.....just in case they got dirty during the process. After the paint dried and before we moved the furniture in...... That meant an extra day without the room, but well worth it!
