This morning I decided to walk to our local post office to buy Christmas stamps, it takes around 20 minutes each way but it wasn't too hot, so I thought it would be a good chance to get some exercise. Later in the day I checked and found that the international stamps were five short, but I had paid for them, so I had to make another 40 minute round trip back to the post office. I phoned before I left and they asked what time I was there and who served me and when I got there they told me that they had reviewed their video footage to confirm what I had said. Just goes to show you shouldn't try to put one over on the post office, they are watching you!
I haven't posted them yet, it's a twenty minute round trip to the nearest post box, so I think I 'll leave that until tomorrow. So when you get your cards, remember it took 100 minutes of walking and a post office investigation to get them to you!
