You wouldn't believe what's going on in Dielheim right now! LOL! I think half of this town's mothers are at work trying to find solutions to Julia's discomfort! So far, nobody knows what "Dillwasser" is, but they've got all kinds of other things for me to try. It's amazing how concerned these women are and I haven't even been here for three years yet. It just warms my heart to feel so much care and concern.

Julia has her well-baby check tomorrow (her E-3, do they have the same in Austria??) and I'll ask the pediatrician about Dillwasser. She was up last night at 2am and was in so much pain. This was a first. Normally, she is unhappy before bed, but by the time she gets to bed, then she's fine, even when she wakes up to nurse. Luckily, DH got the big sisters off to school and Julia and I "slept in" ;)

Thank you again for figuring out the mystery for me. A friend brought me two books (both in German!) to help troubleshoot. She's also ordered some tea from the pharmacy that should help.

I can't believe that I might not have all of you wonderful people and the people of Dielheim in my life if we hadn't made this move. I'm so blessed.

So it seems, Germany is not so bad after all, LOL

I never heard about Dillwasser either before, Curly. I gave mine fenneltea but then they never had these bad colics that poor Julia has.

So lets hope the pediatrician has something for hear.

Curly when my eldest was tiny I gave her gripe water by the bucketful. It helped a tiny bit.

My third child had really bad reflux. She vomited until she was 18 months old! She was on a medicine (prescription) called Prepulsid. So if it continues ask your doctor they might be able to suggest something else.

Where's the "worried auntie" icon? How's Julia doing? Did the dr. have any suggestions? Were you able to find any chamomile? Have you considered chiropractic? Do you want me to shut up? ; )

Yeah Curly, how did the appointment go? What's going on? Has that darn Gripe Water showed up yet? Can you get any Mylicon drops at the Base? Sometimes they work a little bit but I didn't find them as good as the GW.
