LOL, of course, the ONLY way I can be first on a board is to cheat and get here before it's publicly available.

I hope you all enjoy learning some new tricks. I think you'll find it becomes second nature very soon.

I like this new format, lots of play potential :o)

So I'd like to suggest a couple of folders:

Couch (as in "make room, I'm ready to flump and I could really use a massage and some hot cocoa, please")

"Jack's Corner" in stead of "General" - Jack could be the name of a general any day LOL

Hi Lise,

Just thought I'd say hello as you are from Denmark. By coincidence, just this week we have had a young Danish man staying here with us. We were billetting him as he was in a Group Study Exchange programme through Rotary International.my DH is a member of the local Rotary Club. There were 5 of them staying in the area and we really enjoyed their company. They have done so much in NZ from bungy jumping, white water rafting caving/black water raftingand we took them kayaking in the harbour last Tuesaday. They did do vocational meetings as well as the fun! They all came from Copenhagen. In the year 2001 the daughter of a friend of mine spent a year as an exchange student in Denmark also -in Ikast, she is now fluent in Danish and came to meet the visitors.

hugs and nice to meet you

What a coincidence :o)

Lots of Danes like to travel to Australia and New Zealand, both are very popular destinations. The one who lived in Ikast really got to see the provincial laid back and friendly parts of Denmark :o) Not a lot of big city feeling like COpenhagen may actually provide. I live in the provincial Denmark too, Fredericia is some 60 miles from Ikast.

I have found something I think some of you may find helpful in maneuvering the boards ...

when you log in, scroll down to the General Discussions folder, then over to the right where the little box says, "All". Click on the arrow and scroll down to "w/ unread msgs."

Let the board reload. This will show you ALL and ONLY threads with messages you haven't read. Then, as you click through them, "next discussion" only takes you places you haven't been yet. It has made keeping up with the board MUCH easier for *me*. Thought I'd share~
