Yep I'm already thinking about that. Was wondering if anybody else had put any thought into what to get ducky this year yet?

I haven't put a huge amount of thought into Christmas, but I do know Amelia wants a DS like her brothers (oh, how she hounds them to let her play!) or some games she's allowed to play.

Nolan has brought up a few Wii games that he wants, and a BIG monster truck (but that is being saved for when he finally sleeps in his big boy bed!).

I've been thinking about Christmas too!! So you are not alone. I like to budget in advance because I have the tendency to get caught up in the December craziness and go way overboard. For D, he wants this robotic lego set. It'll cover his entire budget so that will be it for him. For Kayla, all we've decided on is a dollhouse with furniture. I want to get her one of those beautiful wooden one, but with us being at the mercy of movers in May, I didn't want to risk it getting damaged. So, we probably are going with the Fisher Price Loving Grand Family. Other then that, it'll probably be a Melissa and Doug food set and other random stuff.

I've already put a pretty good dent in my Christmas shopping for the kids this year.

I have been thinking about Christmas too... The only thing I think we know for sure is that Noah will get a Leapster (haven't decided on the 2 or Explorer.. .anyone have advice? LOL!) and my kids will get a play kitchen to share from my mom... I am sure there will be some board games and pajamas/clothes.

Emma has had the leapster 2 this year and while it is good I've been researching the explorer and it has a lot more to it and from what I gather as a parent you can set the skill level the child is at and it applies it to any game you purchase. I find with the 2 Emma will come to me for help a lot cause it asks her to find words and she just isnt there yet or add number because she has to change the level with each game. needles to say Emma is getting the leapster explorer for christmas. Her 2 is well used and the colour in the screen is starting to go and when she first got it when she was 2 she scrathed the screen up pretty good with a pen. HTH.
