So, I am going through sticker shock on how much Pre-K programs cost.

You already know RJs current preschool is 225/week, to change to a 4 year old only one would be 315/week for fulltime.

OMG to $325 a week.....I can't even logically figure out how they substantiate that? I would hate to see how much infant daycare is since that is usually more expensive!

Joey's preschool is 3 mornings per week from 9:15-11:45, and it costs $160/month. I know you are comparing full daycare everyday with preschool programs. If I did work and needed daycare, I think I'd send my kids to Montessori school. I like their methods and philosophies. We have found a private christian based school that does Pre-K and K.

Amelia will be going to a co-op preschool, 3 days a week, from 8:30 to 11:30 for $130 a month. It is a great preschool - she is my 3rd child going through there. I can't believe how much some of you pay!!

Nolan goes full day 3 days a week for $45 each week. It's the same program he went to last year for 2 days. Becca also went there. I love the teachers and he gets a good dose of structure.

That is very interesting. I bet demographics (especially income based) play a huge role in that.
