So, I am just curious what is going on with the other duckies' teeth these days?

Lucas hasn't lost any baby teeth and I'm not expecting him to for quite awhile.

That's funny. My middle son is at the opposite end of the spectrum. He's 7 and didn't loose any teeth until right after he turned 7... and he's desperate to catch up with his classmates!! He got his teeth really late, though, so I am not surprised.

My nieces were both 4 when they lost their first teeth, and got their molars early, too. Their dentist said the same as yours, that they were just on the early end of normal. I think the only real disadvantage is that they have permanent teeth younger, before they are good at taking care of them by themselves. It could also be an advantage, because they may be more likely to let you brush them everyday, and do a much better job than they could on their own.

I would have to look back in her baby book for an exact age, but I am pretty sure she was "average".

Did she get her baby teeth early? A lot of kids whose come in earlier, come out earlier. Owen's teeth aren't doing anything, but my older kids have been on the late side with losing teeth.
