Thanksgiving was good. It was just me and Audrey for Thanksgiving Day- DH had to work. Favorite dish was by far the Chocolate Pumpkin Cheesecake I made for desert. Once college is done (2 weeks 1 day and counting!), we're going to make ginger bears!

I've been MIA simply due to life. It's crazy! Sorry ;)

Thanksgiving was very nice. Favorite dish...hmm...maybe my step-mother's ham? It was pretty good :) Ooo, and my dad's banana pudding. Yum!

For Christmas we usually do a huge get-together with DH's family, but with my surgery next week, they tried to move it up here. You know, it's fine to have a hysterectomy and then turn around and host 17 other people the day after you get out of the hospital, right? Of course the doc said no way, so now it will (thankfully) be just us and maybe short visits from each set of parents at some time or another. Phew!

Traditions...well, last year we started one we're going to continue this year. We pick out fun jammies to wrap and open Christmas Eve and wear to open presents Christmas morning. The boys got coordinated dinosaur jammies--cute! And we get each boy a new ornament. But that's it so far.

Hi Care! Yep, the date of surgery kind of snuck up on me. It used to be this thing way in the future, and now my pre-op appointment is tomorrow! I'm looking forward to getting it all taken care of, but I'm nervous about what recovery will be like. But I'm sure we'll weather it fine.

The boys are both doing well! As I'm sure you experience with Nik, this age is fun! Tovi says the funniest things, acts out movies, plays pretend, and otherwise entertains me on a regular basis. He's fun! Poor guy's eczema is flaring up big time, though, and his face is a mess. He keeps licking it and making it worse.

Oren's sleeping through the night and is so much more content than he'd ever been before. He's a chunk! I'm not used to that since Tovi was a skinny-mini. I'm able to nurse him or pump for all but one of his meals, but I can't pump often enough at work to manage that last bottle. But he takes that bottle of formula well, and I appreciate having that pressure lifted off my shoulders. He can finally nurse without the shield, which is great. I don't know how we'll do with my surgery...I have to pump and dump a bit, and might be in too much pain to manage that or nursing for a bit. We're keeping open minds and I'll do what I can.

How are you and your boys? I take it you had a good trip?
