I probably spent 30 dollars on party favors, plates, napkins, etc.......on past birthdays.
I think I spent 20 or 30 dollars on his birthday present too.
Probably for this birthday I might spend 25 on party favors, plates, napkins, etc.
I'll probably spend 20 to 30 dollars on his birthday present! :-)

we are way more.
we spent probably about $150 on food, cake, favours, loot bags, pinaata, booze, and then about 50-100 for his bday gift.
we never spent anything so far..cause grandma brought the cake or i made one--for the party and presnts usually 100-200 bucks!
this year we wanted to have a real party--and since we are in apt. we have to rent a place...probably spending 250 bucks!
Food is what is so expensive! For the 1st party, I did sandwiches, etc. For her 2nd party, I did homemade manicotti and chicken Parmesan (it was a smaller group). This year, I'm thinking sandwiches again. But, food ends up being $100-150 (this includes plates, napkins etc)
Gift: Usually around $100. This year, money seems tighter so I'm going to try to spend around $50.
We have a lot of family (including extended) that live nearby and frequently birthday parties have been between 50-75 people (adults and kids).
