Has everyone recovered from Thanksgiving?
Here is a link to the small book I did for our trip in the spring.
Yes-MIL is still here...she leaves after 5pm tomorrow...sigh.
Seems funny to have today off from school too. I'm ready for Calla to be back in school! Have a great haircut too-I love haircut days.
Good morning everyone!
Thanksgiving was great. We went to my parents for a 12:00 lunch and ate WAY too much. Good thing that I have maternity pants! They were nice and stretchy!! LOL I had a nice nap when the kids napped too. Then we ended up going to my Uncles and Aunts for a light dinner (leftovers and turkey on buns with pie) and played games. The kids were up till about 11:00 p.m. for three nights in a row. They did so well and slept in till about 9:00 a.m. which was nice, but now we are trying to get them back on schedule.
We put up some lights in Liam's room on Friday. He was SOOO excited to have them in there. I told him that he can have them on to fall asleep with but Mommy will turn them off when I go to bed. It has been pretty bright in there, but he falls asleep ok and he is excited about going to bed now.
Laura, Was that Calla's first time skiing? DH is planning on taking Liam up this year too. I am just worried about him freaking out about it and not wanting to try it when we get up there. Any pictures to share?
LOL, no, I have not posted any recent pictures. I think I am going to take one this week though. I will post it when I do. ;)
Pssst... can you make me a winter siggy with no picture? Pleeeeese?
Hi, everyone!! I missed you all sooo much!
I have so much to do and so little time to recover. Today is definitely a recover day.
I hope to read more tonight.
Hi! Just checking in. Incredibly busy here with holiday shopping and so on. If you're on FB you know what I've been up to.
Kristi, Connor went skiing last year and LOVED it but they can start at 3 or even 2 in some places. It doesn't get quite so cold here, though, so that limits the season. Turns out my parents' vacation house in PA is about half an hour away from a nice ski hill so DH is looking forward to taking both boys quite a bit this year. I don't ski. :)
I'm in the 2WW yet again...should be testing a week from tomorrow. I'm not terribly hopeful this month. TTC is knocking me for a loop this time around.
That is right, Jenna! I remember you showing us the video of C skiing. I think I showed it to Liam and asked him if he wanted to do that too. I think he said yes, but who knows when you get up there. Hang in there Jenna. It is a emotional roller coaster that you are on. It looks like you did your part... ;)
Laura, oh my word... when did Calla start skiing? When she was 1 year old? I thought 4 years old was too young. That is amazing that she likes it so much.
Thanks Tammy! ;)
